My Name is Turida Wijaya, you can call me Jaya, I was born in Jakarta, 1977. This is my journey. From hobby to a dream job. Its Began at the age of 20 when my father bought me Yashica 108 camera, in 1999 M Photo Studio hired me as a photographer, five years later PT Sinar Mulia Kreasi trust me to build and run Star Studio from scratch. At that time, I beginning to think that my career will end in retail industry, until in 2005 I met Erikar Lebang, my teacher at the University of Mercubuana, who ask me to be a photographer for Maxim - The Worlds Biggest Men's Magazine - Indonesia edition. An offer i can't resist. Working in magazine is great impulse for my experience and proffesionality.
After two years in Maxim (August 1st, 2005 until September 1st 2007), I moved to Nirmala Magazine to explore my ability in food photography. I love taking new challenge, meeting new people or photography object.
This website is another chapter in my journey. A beginning.
